A 26 day odyssey aboard the luxury liveaboard, Damai 2 with a small group of Wetpixel photographers. Great boat, great crew, great food and best of all, great people! The trip started off with a bang with a side trip to the active Komba volcano and we were blessed with an outpouring of fantastic critters from there on out. We saw 18 different Rhinopia (a rare kind of scorpionfish) in the first 10 days (previously, I had seen 2 in my whole life), well over 100 different nudibranch species, mantas, and my new favorites, ladybug amphipods which are no bigger than fleas.
